Kristopher Johnson - Assistant Principal

Kristopher Johnson

WELCOME!!! The 2015-2016 school year marks my first year as an administrator in Clint Independent School District.  This is my first school year at East Montana Middle School as an assistant principal.  I am very excited to work with such a dedicated staff, hard-working students, supportive parents, and caring community.

I began my career in 2009 in New Mexico as a social studies teacher. I transitioned to Bataan Military Academy in Albuquerque as a 12th grade English and SPED teacher. I moved to Texas and worked the last four years in Fabens ISD. Prior to serving in education, I served 17 years in the U.S. Army and currently the Texas Army National Guard. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our six pets. Among my passions are golf, bike riding, and traveling. I earned my Bachelors in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina, Masters in Secondary Education and Masters in Educational Leadership from Sul Ross State University, and currently working on a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at El Paso.

I feel honored to be the Assistant Principal at East Montana Middle School.  I look forward to all the successes we will achieve together.  I invite you to contact me with any questions or concerns anytime at (915)926-5241 or Kristopher.johnson@clint.net GO RATTLERS!!!!!
